Up for sale is my AKG K701. I brought these new a couple of months ago. This is my second time around owning these cans. They were only used a total of 2 hours. What I did was as soon as I received them I listened to my 10 reference tracks and then burned them in for 300 hours with my burn - in CD. Then I listened to my reference tracks again with my two amps at home. Since then they have been sitting unused.
They are in 10/10 Audiogon condition which is practically brand spanking new. The headband and elastics are still tight and the pads are very firm. They were used in a smoke and pet free home. It will of course come with the stand and paperwork included in the AKG 701 box which is in mint condition as well.
I'm asking $215 shipping within the U.S. I'll eat the Paypal fees as well.
