FS: Sennheiser HE60 + HEV70
Hello.
I am considering selling my Sennheiser HE60 electrostatic headphones and Senn HEV70 electrostatic amp.
I have had these checked out by a few of the big name NY crew, and am told these are an early batch which featured blue grills. One member also said these were the best he heard the HE60 sound. When I compared my HE60 setup to the HE90/HEV90 setup there, I was shocked that they sounded pretty much the same to me. Take from that what you will, but I was shocked.
I don’t know if I’m crazy to sell these or not……. As such, I am asking a price that reflects how much I like these, and how good they sound. I hope you will see from the pictures that these are in beautiful physical condition.
I have just replaced the ear pads and headband today. Brand new straight from Germany. The amp is in wonderful condition. Works like a dream. The amp plug is made for 120V. The HE60 cable is stock (no DIY terminations) and in nice condition with no kinks.
They come with the HE60 box. Sadly, I do not have the printed documentation since the former owner didn't have it either.
Darn, I’m listening to them now, and I don’t remember them sounding this good. I think the new pads improved the sound even more…

Sure, they are number 011659.
I'm not sure how the numbering system worked with the HE60, but that is their number.
The amp number can be seen in the picture.
