It really pains me to do this. I've been searching for other ways this past month to manufacture funds and avoid letting these go, but my attempts have not been successful. Unfortunately I am in the predicament of needing to free up cash for a down payment on a new car, I was rear ended recently, so I'm going to have to send my newly acquired HD800 back and part ways with my beloved L3000. It won't be difficult to manage with my HP-1000 in the interim, but as soon as funds permit I will be back in the hunt for another L3000.
Out of all the headphones I have owned, these have clearly been my favorite. The body, richness, and weight of tone are simply breathtaking and incredibly addictive. The quality of the bass is unmatched and the overall level of refinement is superb. This was the only headphone that caused me to part ways with the two PS-1s I formerly owned.
I am the second owner of this L3000. In my possession they have been extremely well taken care of, always being stored in their suede pouch when not in use. They come from a pet free, smoke free environment and are in absolute mint condition. The leather is perfect on the cups and headband and the cord has no frays or tears. Aside from the leather ear pads showing typical signs of usage, there is no visible wear at all on the headphone. Everything that came with the headphones from the factory is included except for the documentation. As you can see from the pictures this includes the suede pouch, the separate pouch for the cord, the blue velvet storage box, the inner shell box, and the outer shell box with production sticker. The documentation was never passed on to me as it was misplaced at some point in time by the original owner.
The headphones will be double boxed and shipped by either USPS Registered Mail or FedEx Air. I will accept payment in the form of Paypal, Certified Bank Cashier's Check, or Bank Wire Transfer.
