I'm selling my K81s which have been recabled with 3.5 feet of Mogami mini quad, terminated with a right angled gold Neutrik mini jack. The driver foams have been removed for clarity improvements and blu-tac mod for bass has also been done. The driver foams and original cable is included in the unlikely event anyone wants to revert back. It also comes with original box and 1/4" adaptor (don't think it's the original).
The phones have got around 100 hours on them and in pretty good condition. There is a little scuff mark and some minor glue originated fingerprint marks on small part of the headband (must have been from sticky fingers when I was securing the cables inside the casing). I have tried to show these defects in one of the images. I should add the camera flash has bleached out the AKG logo but this is not affected by any wear. Now, as for that all important "comfort enhancer" - a slice from an athletic insole which I taped on the underside of the headband (insole was new I should add). Not the most technical or prettiest of mods but believe me, this solved any previous comfort issues and is largely invisible when worn. This is shown with all of the other bits.
