I purchased these to watch DVD movies primarily, and enjoy dolby digital surround through cans. I've found that I am not using them as much as I had expected (have less and less time for T.V. lately).
These are the top-of-the-line as far as I know in terms of wireless cans. The processor is 24-bit/48 and accepts dolby digital signals via a coaxial or optical connect. There is also an analog RCA input.
Many controls to virtualize surround sound via headphones. The signal is transmitted digitally, so their receiving distance is excellent - my estimate is around 30+ feet on charged batteries.
Sound wise, they are simaler sounding to my AKG 240s - which I also happen to own. So these can more than adequately do double duty as a music headphoneamp too, without the wires. Very convenient late in the evening. Headphones are very lightweight. Also has a jack to plug in wired headphones too.
Priced attractively to sell $230 + shipping which is a very big discount over new price.
