Are there any pre-2009 replacement cables left?

I've been asking everywhere and no one seems to respond. I am looking for the pre-2009 replacement cable, the one before the redesign. I wear these over the ear so microphonics aren't an issue, and I cycle with my SA6's so cable thickness is important to me. If anyone has a pre-2009 cable that they don't need, I am willing to take it off your hands or trade for a new cable. Please PM me if you're interested! Anyone?

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for a package to arrive via usps? I've been trying to look it up but it's not mentioned anywhere in any clear manner. I'm thinking it's at customs but i'm really not all that sure.

SA6 cable broken on replacement pair

Hi,

I've had a replacement pair of SA6's (first edition) sent out as a replacement for my original pair that had its entire piece fractured in half. On this second pair, the joint that connects the cable to the right earpiece has snapped and no more sound is coming out of the right earpiece. Its quite dissapointing as this is my replacement pair....

Is there a place in Australia (shop or online store) that I can buy a replacement cable? I heard that Sleek Audio received a new batch of cables that were supposedly more durable. The main gripe i have with my now broken cable is also the fact that the cable becomes very stiff after a month or so.

As you can see, the copper wire is exposed and the jacket that prevents the cable from bending excessively has been broken. I believe this may have something to do with the cable becoming stiff after a month. Its less ductile and hence fractures easily instead of yielding (Im a civil engineering student =P). I have babied this earphone like crazy after my first pair had its earpiece fractured in half just by replacing the treble tip.

wireless unit uses same wire quality as normal wires?

I'm curious about some of the experiences from people who have this unit. I'm going to order some new wires as my previous have broken due to it "getting hard". I'm interested in buying the wireless unit... but i'm put off by the price, especially with the "hard wire" issue that is plaguing the normal wires and the fact that the wires are not replaceable.

In short, what are the opinions on the build quality?
