Hi,

I have ordered the RE2+Fiio E5 combo last week. It has been almost 10 days that I have got the confirmation e-mail and the tracking number but the tracking number does not work: "No information on this number" on all EMS, Canada Post and Purolator. I emailed the head-direct customer service twice, getting no answers.

Might there be something wrong with the shipment? I am kinda getting worried.

Hi Nankai,

I wear my re0 to sleep and love them. I got them back in September of this year. Recently they went into the washing machine and came through relatively intact with only the glue holding the metal chambers on the left earpiece dissolving. The right earpiece seems to be fine.

I was wondering if I should return them to you or have a go applying glue to them myself?

Looking forward to your reply.

The title says it all. I had the left earbud fail on me and sent in the RE2s for replacement (in a special padded envelope (one of these), with the invoice and instructions to replace) using Canada Post international letter-post. I have not received any E-mail confirming that the RE2s made it back to Head-Direct. Is it regular to take this long? Was the envelope not suitable to carry the RE2s? If there is any other information that would help, don't hesitate to ask.

I have ordered an EF2 nearly 2 weeks ago (it's a week and a half now), and the tracking number is not working still, USPS or Chinese EMS. Says it doesn't exist. And of course, I don't have the package. I have sent an email to no avail..

Tracking number is: EE111497805CN

I will provide the order number privately when requested, though, I sent that in my second email last night..

PLEASE get this looked into. I'm not blaming Head-Direct. I'm blaming the carriers involved, but from my end there's nothing I can do. Since the tracking number isn't working for USPS, that usually means it's not even here in the USA yet.

Just want to drop a quick thread over here and post my experience with Head-Direct.

I ordered some PK3 headphones back in the beginning of October and they were promptly shipped the next business day.

However, for some unknown reason, the USPS lost my package and I felt as though I got screwed, as I did not order any insurance on the package as well.

After emailing Head-Direct about my missing package, they again promptly replied and sent me a replacement PK3 the same day!

Very impressive customer service...such a rarity to find in a company these days! I look forward to doing more business with Fang and Head-Direct!

Cheers!

i am retubeing this head phone amp. It currently has teh stock tube put in there by the Fangster. i have suggestion from a vendor of the following three:

-6189 RCA black vertical rib plate 3 mica square getter, NOS in a white box, excellent gain/Gm match and good section balance! - $34.50.

-Radiotechniques 960s vintage - $39.50 ea.

-RFT (German) tube -$24.50 ea.

I have Grado SR80s and Shure SH840s and listen to mainly 4-5 piece acoustic jazz and some rock. I like a mellow top end with defined mids and lean bass, just like everyone else, i suppose.
