I have for trade or sale(make me an offer) my used Senn IE8's. I am one of those who have a rather expensive propesity to try equipment for a while and then to try something else. I bought these used here on Headfi a few months ago (8+ I think) and they work fine. They have about 500 hrs on them and they have been fed from my RSA amp. All packaging except the silica gel packet and I think one pair of tips are included all other tips are here. I had custom eartips made for these(not included) so the Senn tips are in new condition. If you're interested in buying or trading for Westone W3's or Shure SE 530's (PTH not needed) please PM me . Price not set so make me an offer if you'd like to buy. See my feedback for buying assurance.

This is a very rare electret headphone from Toshiba, it is the western version of their high end Aurex line from Japan. They are a special type of electret headphones called 'black electret'.

According to Spitzer from a similar model:

Quote:

They are electret but since the electret material is on the stators they can go head to head against the electrostatics

They have had their earpads materials replaced by hand-stitched genuine lambskin.
Very light and comfy too. Not to mention looks great.

Uniquely, unlike 99% of electrets out there, this has a convenient TRS adaptor, and can work out of the normal TRS amp's that you use for your dynamic cans. You can see this in the photo (this TRS adaptor is removable btw).

Sound: Firstly, this doesnt have big bass, so if you are after the blam hardcore bass sound, then this isnt for you. Now that thats out of the way, apart from bass amplitude, everything else about this headphone is pure class, its very fast, refined and detailed. Great timbre, seperation etc...
I mentioned the bass isnt big in amplitude, but the bass quality is very good, it conveys textures in the sound well (this will be down to the very thin and fast planar diaphragm).

Specs:
Type: Complementary Back Electret
Diaphram: 2.5 µm ( Aluminum Evaporated)
Frequency Response: 20 - 20,000 Hz
Impedance: 600 ohm ( AMP Position ) , 8 ohm ( DECK Position )
Sensitivity: 101 dB / 3 V ( AMP Position ) , 99 dB / 0.15 V ( DECK Position )
Maximum Sound Pressure: 115 dB
Distortion: Less than 0.5 % ( 400 Hz )
Weight: 160 g ( Without Cord )

(nb: cord is straight, not curly)

I will accept paypal payment (preferably personal or gift payment to avoid fees). Throw me a good offer.

Thanks for looking.

Hi guys,

I got a pair of Shure SE530 from TTVJ 2 months ago and have been enjoying since. Having a pair of shiny bling in your ears that ppl stare at is pretty cool haha. But as the thrill of a new toy fades....i begin to think that probably headphones is more for me. Or maybe trying out westone 3

Everything is as it was when i got it. Brand new. There are not scratches except a dot on the shiny earbud which was there when i got it(not visible unless u are looking for it).

I am letting it go for ringgit 1100(i am from malaysia). Would prefer to sell to ppl around south east asia or australia as you guys would have saved on delivery. The price should be pretty good since it was used for such short time and I've gotten from a reputable dealer not ebay or some swammy online marketplace

Drop me a pm if interested. Thanks!

Selling my refurbished Audio Technica ATH-ES7s. I bought these as a new, factory reconditioned unit from Buydig and they have had very little use. I bought them to use on long flights but the sound isn't my cup of tea.

The original pair I got had a significant amount of scuffing so I sent them back and got this pair back. They came with a small amount of scuffs and have some normal wear from use but that's inevitable with chrome headphones. The scratches are only noticeable to me under direct light but if you're looking for new, you should probably buy new. Other than the cups, they are in excellent condition. Asking $55 (CONUS only).

Putting up my low-bias SR-Lambda for sale.

They need some explanation:

They are original low-bias Lambda drivers in a brown Lambda Signature frame. The cable is 5-pin pro-bias, but they need to be plugged into the normal-bias input of your amp or energiser, unless you wish to blow them up :-)

Another anomaly is that the person who put the drivers in the new frame has reversed them. That is, as far as I can tell (though I might be confusing myself), the left driver is in the right chamber, and vice-versa.

This does not affect the sound at all, which is beautifully clear and balanced. However, to get the channels right, you need to swap your interconnects.

Anyhow, the phones are in good condition, with plenty of life left in the pads, and they sound great.

$315 USD shipped and Paypal'd.

NB I won't under-declare for customs purposes.

For Australian buyers: $290 AUD including express post shipping. Direct deposit payment (or add 3% for Paypal).

Cheers!

Just want to check that whether anyone interested in the ultimate Sony R10 headphones. The headphones are in excellent condition except there are three very light chips and couples of hardly noticeable marks on the headband. Please be noticed that the chips are not really broken since there were already there when I received it. I emailed to ask Sony in Japan and was told that they were made naturally due to the nature of the material of Zelkova schneideriana. So some will have little chips but some are not. I think I need to mention it because some people do very care about the aesthetics. Except that, the headphones are in pristine condition. The headphones were made in 2005 and series# is 10XX which belong to heavy bass version. They function perfectly without any problems.

Furthermore, be aware that the headphones were re-cabled to APS V3 cable with gold neutrik plug. In my opinion, the V3 cable is more clear and sharp than the original sony cable. However, if you prefer Sony’s, I will have the original one accompanied so you can change yourself if you want.

Honestly, I prefer local sale. If you live close to Boston, you are welcomed and encouraged to come check the exact condition and listen to it personally. Why I am doing this is to avoid any further after-sale issues. I have a very good amp and they will sound gorgeous. I can also ship, but buyers will pay for the fees.

Since I rarely surf on Head-Fi and not sure the current going price of such kind of system. So, please email me with your offer and any questions you may have. Thanks.
