Well, I was finally able to find a few of these ales down in Frederick, Maryland. Picked two up so I could test my own review after having a second (which I will later on down the road). For those of you who don't know, Westmalle Trapist Ale is made in the Westmalle monastery in Belgium. Unless you can find them in a local distributor, you won't be able to get more than a gift box from the website of the monastery. These ran me...I want to say about 4 dollars a piece for two 11.2 ounce bottles,...

Hey all,
I don't expect that many people read little posts like this one which have nothing to do with headphones or audio in general, but hey, maybe it'll make me feel better about the future after writing this.
Well, in less than one week I will be an official graduate of Shippensburg University on my way to Widener Law School in the fall. Its been quite a journey full of stress, fun, drunken nights and thousands of pieces of paper defiled by my "reseach papers"....

I recently posted this over on another forum I frequent. I reviewed this cigar because it has quickly become one of my favorites. So without further adieu, I give you my review of the Nub 358 Habano.
Looking at the cigar, there was a great oily sheen to it. It was smooth, no visible defects, no large veins. The cap was well affixed to the head of the cigar and the foot was well packed, not too tight, not too loose.
The cigar itself was firm, with no soft or hard spots....

Last night I decided to swing by my local bar and pick up a few six packs for the weekend, thinking I could get some Victory Hop Devil or something similar. However, they were sold out of my favorite, so I started looking around the case for an alternative I hadn't had or hadn't had in a while. I spotted two different six packs of Magic Hat: Circus Boy and No. 9 and bought both.
This review focuses on the no. 9, another will follow for the Circus Boy when I have some time to write...

So, I've had this album for a quite a while now, since it came out in '07, but I never got around to giving it a review. Now, however, I'm taking a little break in my busy day of paper writing and novel reading to get it done.
Gernotshagen is a folk/folk black metal band from Germany. They mix a lot of clean speaking and singing (almost a gregorian chant sound) with growls and distorted guitars in...

So, I got this cigar free in the mail from a buddy over at puff.com as a tag-a-long with some tobacco seeds, and was very excited to try it because I'd only had the Piccolo version of this, which is tiny. So, without further adieu, the review:
Taste: 3.5/5
Draw: 4.5/5
Construction: 3/5
Finish: 3.5/5
Inspecting the cigar before the light up, I noticed an obvious patch, which isn't a problem with a toothy wrapper like this. However, due to either...

Well, some people might say that I'll give a rather biased review for this beer, since I worked for the brewery for a few months this summer, but to be honest, there are a few beers that ABC doesn't do too well and some I absolutely love (i.e. Pale Ale and Grinnin' Grizzly).
This beer was of the former class. Batch 666 is kind of an anomaly for me, since it isn't really well described by the brewery. Its an ale, dark brown with decent head retention. First smell is mildly hoppy...

Well, its that time again, when the aroma of coffee fills the air, the nervous sweating of the palms begins anew, and college minds drift off to dream of sleeping in under warm blankets at home while the snow falls outside.
I am of course talking about finals week; specifically for me the end of finals week. in approximately two hours I will be taking the last final (or final final as it were) of this semester and getting ready to leave for home for a whole month. After a night...
