As the title suggests, this does not read as "amp-three". No Amp1 nor Amp2 here. This is a "Audiophile MP3" player. Also, A is for Affordable, Accurate reproduction and so on. As the name implies, this is a one-piece solution for us portable amp lovers who does not happy with DAP alone.
Here is the hisound web-site.

Japanese manufacture TAKET is known by their unique heil driver headphones(TAKET-H2) in US market. However, here in Japan, they are primary known as a manufacture of super tweeter.
TakeT recently released a new product that is a unique ultra tiny super tweeter, called BATPURE. The size is literally a fingertip.
The price of BAT-PURE is also casual, only 5800 JPY a pair.

If you have decent PC audio gears, you will need a high quality audio source as well. Ripping CD is easy way but your DACs may have 96/24(or better) ability that brings more high resolution sound.
Here is a good chance to try a step further. Norwegian music label 2L now offers high quality music samplers at various sampling rate, including 352kHz and DSD!

This is their trial for the coming commercial download. So the...

I got a pair of JohnBlue JB3 from Ken at ALO.
Click pictures to enlarge.
I have been using Audioengine A2 for my PC setup and I was happy. However, I recently upgraded my sound card to DAL CardDeluxe which is designed for studio pro use. The result is a huge step up from former ONKYO consumer sound card. My previous card was PCI200 limited that is their flagship but the CardDeluxe wins hands...

Griffin Clarifi is an iPhone 3G case with a close-up(macro) lens.

Since the focus of iPhone camera is fixed, this is especially weak to take close-up macro photography.
Griffin Clarifi provides a solution with the built-in macro lens. The Clarifi itself is a sleek iPhone 3G case except the lens.

I got my Sleek wireless W1.
My sleek is a custom one but no problem to install the plug.
On the first look, the build quality of W1 is very nice. I use this Sleek wireless with amped iPod and iPhone 3G.
The transmission quality is amazing. To my surprise, no difference to wired. The W1 add some extra bass as Jason stated...

This time, I tried my iMod on the demo iTransport.
I was worrying about if the iMod(5.5G) would work with iTransport, as iMod has been something altered around the dock wiring.
I tried it finally and I 've confirmed the iMod works with iTransport :)
.. HOWEVER it works under the limitation of 5.5G.
iPhone works flawlessly on the iTransport except the annoying warning....

I 've finally auditioned Wadia iTransport at Fujiya-Avic store Nakano,Tokyo.
This is a pre-production demo unit, I think.
I tested for iPhone 3G compatibility with that unit, though iTransport does not support iPhone officially.
When I hooked up the iPhone to the iTransport, I got a similar warning message as the LOD compatibility. Like "iPhone does not support this device bra bra bra would you like to enter the airplane mode?"
So I just ignored that...

I got line out dock for iPhone 3G.
This is Qables SilverCab-Pro iPhone version.
The picture is the iPhone hooked up with iQube.
As you know, ordinal line out dock does not work with iPhone for pin incompatibility.
So you will need a modded dock to hook up.
Qables are available in Japan and US, ALO also provide iPhone enable dock.
(have a look at...
