The third High-end headphone show

The third High-end headphone show took place on Nov 10th. An audio shop Fujiya avic hosting the show and main exhibits are domestic distributors. This is not an off-line meeting and it's like a trade show rather.
Visitors need to have a reservation, the number of the reservation is limited and it was almost 30-40 I guess.

Autumn colors over Japan

We are entering to the severe time of the year, however, at the same time this is the best season to go out. As in this season of the year, surrounding leaves changes its color to red or golden.

My another hobby is taking photography, one of my object is nature photography. Here are my photos of the Autumn colors of the nature park near Tokyo. It takes only one hour from the heart of Tokyo.
It was nothing but magnificent.

STAX announced new SR-007A which replaces current model after 9 years of its first arrival. The change is not so much I think, the notable one is real lamb skin ear pad and its color.

Today, Fujiya avic store has announced that the Japanese largest headphone event will take place at Nakano, Tokyo. - it's called "The 3rd High-end headphones show".

Headphone meets a subculture

Once upon a time, Japan used to be known as the center of Silk in the world as seen in this latest film "Silk". Time has past and it's been changed to cars or electrics in these days.
Now, Japan getting its popularity as the center of subculture like Anime or Manga
Headphone world is no exception. Illustrations of cute girls wearing headphones are called as "head-fon musume (headphone girls)" and much popular. I noticed many headfiers use that kind of illustration as their avatar....

Other retail stores

Previous recommended route #1 would cover almost major headphone related pro-audio shops, I think.
However, I did not mention about Yodobashi or other larger retail stores. I am not so sure if those shops are good for headfiers. It's depended on the location as those are chain stores.

I think, it's worth to visit on those stores when you are looking for relatively lower priced cans as they are oriented to consumer products and you would also have some chance to find English...

Upon reading on the forum, I sometimes found travelling headfiers seeking shops around Tokyo.
I offer you this headphones journey to take a short cut of headphones hunting in Tokyo area.

First, go to Akihabara(秋葉原) station. Then visit Dyna 5555 first floor. It's within walking distance.
