GoVibe Sharps impression

Posted 11-11-2009 at 02:44 PM by Sasaki (From Japan - by Sasaki)

Sharps is a latest addition to the Jaben GoVibe inventory. I've got one as a demo and here is my impression.

I guess the names of Govibe amp were taken from guns. For example PPK, Derringer and Magnum. The name of the Sharps must to be taken from Sharps lifle in the 19C that was designed by Cristian Sharps. Though the name was taken from individual surname, I felt this amp sounded very "sharp"...

New sys-concept 90 degree opt-cable

Posted 06-09-2009 at 02:59 PM by Sasaki (From Japan - by Sasaki)

I was so amazed by this new opt-cable for iBasso D10!

Compared to the former straight cable, the difference is obvious.

The new one is even thinner.

It said that the opt-cable can not be bent, but this marvelous...

tried OJI portable balanced amp but ..

Posted 04-19-2009 at 03:13 PM by Sasaki (From Japan - by Sasaki)
Updated 04-19-2009 at 03:15 PM by Sasaki

I had a opportunity to try the Oji balanced portable that I mentioned
here. I went to audition at Fujiya Avic.
I brought blueDragon Senn cable to use it with HD650.

However the gain of the Oji was so low and I could not have a sufficient volume level. So I changed it to GS1000 balanced that is a shop demo....

New sys-concept cable for iBasso D10

Posted 02-20-2009 at 11:15 AM by Sasaki (From Japan - by Sasaki)

I got new sys-concept cable to match the size of iBasso D10. I ordered this with center-to-center 28mm.
They kindly use white heat shrinks for me because I already have another black one.

I am enjoying ES3X with the D10, this is truly a formidable combo.

1. D10 initial impression

When I got iBasso D10, I was quite surprised by that tiny size.
Here is a comparison to SR71A and Headroom portable2007(DAC/Amp), the differences are remarkable.
