Finally I got my Edition8 !

Posted 05-30-2009 at 03:23 PM by Sasaki

Today, I got mine.

As for sound impression, refer to my previous post.
http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/edi...ession-403151/

Isolation of the Edition8 is good so I can enjoy subtle music presentation even if I am moving in a noisy train.
E8 seems like being big for daily portable use but still compact enough to go out. E8 can not be beaten by other high class home headphones so E8 can be used at home.
E8 is surly expensive but I think this is worth the money.

    congratulation sasaki...

How is the bass response of the E8 .İs it more attack, tighter than E9

I remembered .You said that your first impression a bit sibilance on high freq. IS there any sibilance on it now..?

Dou you think to get balanced cable for ED8?

    thanks...

    Hi thank you all,

    > How is the bass response of the E8 .İs it more attack, tighter than E9

Yes, quantity-wise it is not so humped but have plenty bass. E8 have good attack, tighter and fast.

    > bit sibilance on high freq

Highs are sharp but do not have notable sibilance.
    Very nicely polished I think.

This is not a limited production model as far as I know, so you will have a good chance!
