A Japanese headfier's monologue
Dedicated speaker for Icon has released but ..

I had been long awaited this dedicated speaker S-1 for my NuForce Icon.

Recently I read a good preview by Srajan and it raise my expectation very high

S-1 is only $250 pair and I felt this could not be wrong for the Icon speaker choice. It's dedicated to Icon for the unique network cable. A synergy would be great.
Finally I found the S-1 has released this weekend, yes!
I pressed "buy" button impulsively and I proceeded the cart but ... I cried.
"Oversea shipping charge is $98!? Shipping $98 for $250 speakers??"
Oh well, I decided to wait it for domestic release ..
I found the S-1s are extremely heavy for that tiny speakers. It means the cabinets are well build and it reduce unnecessary resonance. Hence the weight is heavy and shipping cost become high. (not sure about US inside shipping)
Anyway the S-1 must be good and I will enjoy reviews by others while I am waiting for the release in Japan
