This is a Space where it's safe to discuss Any Manner of Audio & Musical Thing...

From my favourite, IEM's which I seem to think are candy, to the Big Guns (which I'd like to own someday), to the uber-chic Electostatic stuff, to Musical sensations, all is welcome here...

RE: Beyerdynamism...

Posted 06-15-2009 at 12:15 PM by FLACvest

Pretty isn't it? I wonder how it stacks up to the audio-gd compass with the earth module... Made in Deutschland... Nice enough 849.00 ouch! The compass is the better, yet less stylistic deal here. Stylistically I could hump this thing's leg and get it a bone and play fetch with it all day long... w00f!!

Oh and thanks to some careful reviewers of my musical genre choice in my "Quest for Beyerdynamism" thread, I think I've narrowed my needs down to the Bassiest of the Beyerdynamics. Beyerdynamic; say that three times fast!! Anyway, it is the one with the Bass Reflex system, and has the Closed sound which should prevent me from hearing any annoying knocks on my locked door. I've never been into closed sound, but my cousin Juan is really really into it and extoles the virtues of it to me. Besides I already have the Grado SR60, and the modded, cored out ports of the little v-moda bass-freq in bling bling black when i want really open sound. So I guess closed sound can't hurt.

Here's what the stock Premium 600 ohm DT770 look like:

Bon Appetit!
