Sony US is completely out-of stock and not getting any more. Anyone know of another ear pad that is compatable, or any other suggestions where to get them? Jim

Well, for those of us who don't follow the conventional world of music and are tired of the AB-Solo-AB Formated Music being played on the corporately controlled world of Media; I have started this Blog. As some of the long-time Head-Fi.org Members know, there has been an ongoing joke theme at Head-Fi.org that started with someone creating a poll about pretzels versus churros. Long story short, this theme carried itself into many a thread. As it got a bit out of hand (to say the least), it irritated many folks, myself included; and so now any pretzel versus churro posting almost always gets deleted from the Main Forums.

I'm back from the headphones festival Spring at Nakano, Tokyo. This show is only headphones dedicated show in Japan AFAIK, and the show was called as a hi-end headphones show before and the show took place three times in the past. From this fourth time the show has been renamed and gets some renewals.
This is not a forum meet, a trade show rather. The main host is Fujiya-Avic store which is well known among Japanese headphone fanatics.

I dont know how long I have been in this cold and dark and rain. I walk a flat grid of streets, which recede into the four directions, but direction does not matter here. Sidewalks line the streets, but only the poles of dim streetlights are there. Buildings stand behind the sidewalks, and are all alike, six stories high, made of dark brick, and shut tight. I can't believe it's been only a month since I've looked at my HF blog. I've just been buried with all kinds of things lately.
Hopefully, I'll get all my loose ends tied up before I go off on a cruise with my bowling teammates for roughly a week, but I've got a little bit of time before that happens.
There's just so much going on in life that I cold get excited about, and yet, I have no content for my personal blog, let alone my HF blog. But you know what? I'll try...

I bought a new desktop small amplifier NuForce Icon-1.
NuForce is a high-end digital amp manufacture and they are known for its high performance proprietary Class D amp technology. it produce amazing damping factor of 4000. This means the amp has great driveability and control ability for speakers.
