I want to highlight a transaction that started out as a bummer but ended up turning out just fine due to the fact that Purk is a responsible Head-Fier and a good guy.
I sold Purk a Sony SCD-333ES back in November and unfortunately it was broken in shipment, even after it was packed by the UPS store. As Purk can tell you, UPS makes it a very difficult and extended procedure to make an insurance claim, especially due to the fact that the claim had to be made directly with a UPS store independant franchise in Jersey.
Purk was a good sport throughout the whole process and did everything that needed to be done so that I could get the insurance claim from UPS. That included taking the CD player to a repair shop and shelling out $50 from his own pocket so that the repair shop could tell UPS it was totalled.
It was a long process, but I was very comfortable working with Purk to make sure we got our money back. Thanks Purk! I give him my highest recommendation for any transaction.
