I have both the Grado case and the eBay case.
The insert in the Grado case makes the cables stay neatly away from the headphones when they are stored inside, and keeps the headphones stay in place.
Quality wise the Grado case is stiffer.
The eBay case have no insert.
The Ebay case cannot take the RS-1 without closing the lid will make the lid put pressure on the headphones (and possible rubbing against the buttons).

So now it is up to you to decide.
