Nice review. I own the C3's and am contemplating either a set of X5 or X10 for travel, I cannot get the C3's to feel comfortable for very long, usually an hour to an hour and a half tops, when I fly.
I too hate that d@mn cable on the C3's but I absolutely love their sound. I've read where the X5's are a bit more refined in the top end and bass is not as dominating.
