OK, so that issue fits into the
uncertain part of my post. That is my recommendation to this year's organizers but somebody will have to give the official word on it. I think it should be as easy as possible so that everybody who wants to sign up guests can do so without penalty. The lack of guest registration on the pre-registration page should not be held against you, imho. I think the lead organizers agree, but I will leave it to them to post an official comment.
As for the roll call thread, it gets updated occasionally and will be complete whenever the pre-registration is cut off. Obviously, people are able to just show up and pay at the door, but why miss out on the very sexy custom badges that will be made up for pre-registered members?!
