The KT88 actually takes the amp to 10 watts, however this is a conservative rating it is more like 13-14 usable watts. The EAT tubes are truly the best I have heard so far. Not Cheap but I have multiple amps I can use them in so very worth it to me.....The Xciter has no problem driving most speakers at normal levels too.
