The green demarcations Edwood did for the October '08 meet at the LAX Hilton, which now those green labels will be meaningless for Can Jam '09. Here's the
Can Jam '09 space we've secured at the Hilton -- all the Catalina rooms (A, B, C, & D), Newport rooms (A, B, C, & D), Santa Monica rooms (A, B, & C), San Lorenzo B & C rooms, and Century A/B for the guest speakers and musical performers. Each room has fixed walls with no adjoining doors between the rooms, providing great noise isolation plus the relatively low ceiling, thick wallpaper, walls and carpeting absorbs a great deal of the ambient noises within each room. Based off the test run October meet, bleed over/through from the rooms is minimal to non-existent especially with the doors closed.
