my favorite is a statement and not a question though, said by the friend of mine who heard the 650s out of a beta 22 for the first time - "these sound exactly the same as my ibuds from my phone and you spent HOW MUCH on the pair???"

ask as many questions as you like, just make sure you dont sound disrespectful to other people's gear, at least not to their face
no one likes every single amp ever made, just make sure you convey such feelings in a proper manner.
