the 600 doesn't have that much more difference of sound as eveyone had mentioned
So I wouldn't think that it would be in your best intrest to purchase anther pair of a simular headphone
I think if you changed your source a bit like your AMP to a different kind of headphone amp, you will find all the suble differences that you may find to be better...
Or if you do want differenct headphones with unique characteristics
get your self some Grado 325 and up, or Beyer 770's, Akg 501-1000, or Sony 3000
I mean your Sennheiser is already in the same class as those cans, that I would suggest trying out something in it's class
and see what you would find your taste if you are getting tired of the 580
btw-- I got the rs-2's because I liked the sound
my second choice would be the sony mdr-cd3000
