Not really a different sounding headphone, just a bit better. I've always had Sennheisers, and I am simply wondering what an upgrade to the 600 will get me.

I have a pair of KSC-35's that I bought my son. Great sounding headphone for the money but no where near the quality of the Sennheiser. The Earmax does not seem to like them either, much clipping in the bass.

Tried a Grado 225, couldn't stand them.

Beyer? Maybe. Never heard those.
