I was wondering the same thing. I swapped an AKG K271S a while ago for an Ultrasone HFI-2200ULE, but only listened to them briefly when I got them. About a week ago, I pulled them out and gave them a good listen and haven't listened to anything since then. They are very good headphones to my ears. They suffer a bit from lack of detail compared to my DT880 '03, but are much more fun to listen to. I tried the PL2500 a while ago and I think I got rid of them too soon...not enough burn-in as I bought them new. I'm thinking I should revisit them but didn't know whether to go for the older or newer ones.
