Depending on how you'd carry them, D2000s have a reputation for breaking at the pivot screw, so that's something to consider. I'm not entirely confident that my HD580s would be too sturdy travelling in a bag either, and HD600s/650s are largely similar.

The beyers look quite a bit more solid than the others, but I've never held a pair so I can't say for sure.
