The PROline 2500 is the open back version of the 750. I have owned the 2500 for a while and really like its sound. However I should mention that not all enjoy its highs, those few indicate they are astrigent and harsh. I do not hear so but I thought I should mention.
BTW, I also use my 2500 as transportable and have enjoyed every second of their use in my office or while traveling. Since it comes w/ two cables you could shorten one and re-terminated it into a 1/8" so it is easier to use while traveling.
