One thing you'll discover with the Fuze is how prone to scratching it is. I had two of them, an 8GB silver and a newer 4GB red, and saw a nick on the red one's screen. I tried rubbing it out but instead ruined the player. It was so scratch up that I just gave it away. Of all my players I have, this and the E series Sansas are the most scratch loving players. But then again, I prefer my DAPs to be in perfect condition. I can achieve that with most of them. The Fuze, I cannot. I decided not to replace it.
I will say, though, it is a beauty and very well designed and plays wonderfully and so forth. Unfortunately you will be limited to Sansa Media Converted video files to use on the Fuze. It won't accept any other file and you can't make it accept them. SMC won't process any MPEG-2 files either. You can rip a DVD to AVI and have SMC convert it, though. Sandisk is in leaguie with the movie industry and that's why the Fuze, and likely all of the video playing Sansa eventually, no longer play non-SMC converted files or use MPEG-2.
