[synaesthetic]

I'm selling this portable amp, made by Headphonia a while ago. It is the model that came before the current Lyrix line. As I have sold my iPod Nano in favor of a Sony A728, I have no need for this and it has sat and collected dust for about a month now.

It's a very nice little amp; the construction and build quality is quite good, despite being housed in a plastic Hammond case. The front panel is metal and is silkscreened with the various inputs and functions. It has a low and high gain switch, a crossfeed on/off switch and a 75ohm impedance switch ("P to S" switch). It has adjustable operation between Class A and Class AB (to prolong battery life at the expense of SQ) that is controlled by a switch inside the battery door.

This little guy sounded quite wonderful with my ER-4P, especially with the crossfeed and impedance switches on. It was a nice pairing with my old 3g Nano; the Nano fits perfectly into the recessed top edge of the amp's enclosure, making it very secure when fastened with a silicone band. But I decided I didn't want to carry so much, and the unamped 3g Nano just didn't do it well enough for me, so I bought the Sony instead.

I purchased this amplifier secondhand from fellow Head-Fi'er chadbang, and it is still in virtually the same condition it was when I received it from him. It has been outside plenty of times, but always in my purse. When I bought it, it did not include a NiMH 9V battery, so I used one of my own, which I will not be including with this amp as I have other uses for it. The amp comes with the wallwart charger.

I'm asking $85 shipped to the CONUS; I do not use PayPal as I have been burned by them in the past, so I am asking that a USPS money order or personal check be used for payment. If paying with a personal check I will need to wait until the check clears before shipping.
