That's about right. I've just gotten myself a Canon 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 as a walkaround lens at $130 (super-cheap), and I'll probably give up my 18-55 IS to the great gods of Clubsnap's FS forums so that I can put the money towards something else (like a macro lens, hehe) and an ultra-wide (EFS 10-22, if I can get it, or Sigma 10-20 f/2.8-f/4) and then an ultra-zoom (200mm L, anyone)...

OH NO.

I've got camera-upgraditis.

EDIT: Oh, for a lens to cover it all, think about the Sigma 18-200 DC OS, or Tamron 18-250 (YIKES) for the ultimate in one-lens solutions.
