are you using a DAC? If so, then save the money and get the Sony since you only using it as a transport.
If you not planning on a DAC, then get the Marantz. Im not sure what DAC it uses, however im pretty confident that its better then the CE595.
I own a CE595 and its a great player...its DAC is alittle tizz sounding, however im just using it as a transport and its great in that area.
