Thanks. My cMoyBB drove my HD580 so loud I had to turn it down for fear of damaging my cans. This was the case too with my vintage amps. However, my Headfive was the most expensive of the amps I've owned, and it barely drove my HD580 to loud levels and not nearly loud enough for me.

Would like to point out here that I am not equating loud and quality. My Headfive drove my HD580 with more quality than anything I've owned except for my current HotUSB1, but the volume of the Headfive was insufficient. My HotUSB1 amp drives my HD580 better than any amp I've had (quality), but the volume (loud) is still insufficient. I can imagine it working quite well with easier to drive cans.
