i don't think it's going to be much of a surprise. a lot of people prefer the tonal balance of the new 780s, but since the 750s use the same drivers as the ed9's and the 780s don't. they're not as technically capable as the 750s (extension, detail retrieval, among other things). i bet with a bit of eq'ing i can make the 750s sound very very similar to the ed9. some people have already told me this.
