Ah, is a pity to hear that (well a little bit (not bad at all for a closed headphone)). I hope that the soundstage depth to increase with more burn in (if it can).
Then Skylab, of your headphones, which have the deepest soundstage?
And i repeat again. Is the mids in the HFi-780 more forward or slightly recessed than your Denon D5000??
And which of the two (your DX1000 and DT990) has a bigger headstage?

P.S: the soundstage depth in this headphone is deeper than your Darth beyers (because i believe that it is the same as my DT770pro....) or not?
