Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio - View Single Post - So what's the word on the new Ultrasone HFI-780????

OK I listened to "Wind That Shakes The Barley" by Dead Can Dance just now to test soundstage. The 780's have a very wide soundstage, and excellent image specificity. However, they have a very shallow soundstage - MUCH shallower than the DT990's. People who really crave soundstage depth would be advised to go with something else.
