Yes, the same adjustments were done to the iM-490S as to the iM-390.
Pricing difference is due to it being more of a niche product (at least normally sold as such), as well as higher production cost (both the product and the licensing).
One thing about the Woot listing is that it does not come with a 2.5mm adapter. Unless Woot is adding it themselves! Otherwise it's a mistake that they put that info on their listing.
