I just bought a pair of used CD3000's, and the pads and the headband are quite worn out. I'll order some replacement pads on audiocubes2, but the price of what seems to be the headband is a bit high. What do they call "
headband assembly" ? Is it the leather headband with the plastic or metal structure that's inside or the whole headband (ie everything but the cups) ?
I may try to fix it myself, has anyone taken the headband apart ? I'm sure that i can get a good result, with care and good leather everything's possible
