In the new price range of sub-$100 shipped anywhere in the world? Absolutely, with the possible exception of better bang for buck with KSC75s and SR60. If you have $100 though do not hesitate.
And I wouldn't consider the Sony purchase "a mistake." Many of us own or owned the 7506/v6 as early cans as they are still in the running for their price range for closed cans. It's just in this range open sound so much better.
