Yes... ZIF = "zero insertion force" and are available in many different kinds of cables and connectors.

Maybe the Toshiba 160GB drive can be swapped with the 80GB Toshiba drive (MK8022GAA)?
Apple really put in the effort to make this unit a PITA to work with!
