I am assuming you are taking about EC7? A8 use CM7's drive, not EC7's. CM7 was AT top-of-the-line back than, but has been replaced by CM700.

I think he meant the donut one, which is what I am using now.
I think my experience with PK1 resembles that of an Ety ER4S user start listening to a Shure E500. It is great at the beginning, but than you realize something is missing (it isn't to say E500 is 'bad' or anything)... all the sweet/lean/clean upper detail is no longer there and you will start wondering if this is the kind of sound you are looking for. Yuin and AT both have some great earbud on the market, but just not great on the same sound characteristic.
