LOL! No - you probably are. People hear different things. It has been my experience that some audiophiles can pick out every little click or pop on a transfer with no problem. Other audiophiles simply can't hear some of the ticks. Some people are just more sensitive to higher frequencies.
As always, YMMV. A little post processing to optomize sound is always a good thing.
Just don't kill the music by over doing the no-noise or click/pop filter.
