Cool ideas. A powered speaker that doesn't distort and sound irritating would be great, but I don't see HeadRoom competing with those crappy $49 docks at the china-mart checkout counter any time soon. Guess we all have to suffer through more head-unfi backyard parties.
The three main problems I have with portable gear is (1) cabling, (2) battery housing/cabling, and (3) casing the whole thing. For example, it would be cool if you had a mini-to-mini connector designed specifically to connect the MicroDac output to the MicroAmp input that sat really close to the case, like two right angle connectors spaced perfectly apart. Another cool thing would be a decent right-angle optical cable. I'd like to see these kinds of helpful finishing touches on all your new portable lines. Innovative cases for all your new portable products, like your bag for the micro amp/stack, would also be really cool, especially if you had custom wiring solutions to keep things neat and tidy.
