I'm glad they feel they've produced the best bang for the buck machine. That's cool with me. But putting higher quality parts in critical areas can reap some nice sonic benefits. Power supplies and output paths, for instance, really do benefit. If I hadn't done some tweaks myself on audio gear I would never have believed it. Anyway, get the model you prefer. But if you get a chance to compare it with a modded version you should give it a go. I think you'll easily be able to hear a difference.
