Hi,

I would consider changing cartridges. The last thing you want to do is damage your vinyl with a cartridge that is not tracking right. The other possibilty is that your records may be damaged from a previous cartridge. Occassionaly I buy a collection of records and they are all damaged on the same channel (seems to be the left more often than not) because of the stylus they were playing them with was damaged or worn.
