Wanted to borrow: AKG K1000

Hi all,

I'm in possession of a new tube amp that's said to drive the AKG's very well. I am also borrowing an OTL32 (Thanks MKYY!) I'd love to get a good listen to these headphones. I treat all gear with the utmost respect, I also am a non-smoker, etc. Although the OTL32 has the correct 4pin output my new tube amp does not. If at all possible, I am hoping that someone has the 1/4" converter as well. I am located in Vancouver, Canada and am more than willing to pay for shipping and such. I have many positive references, and those that met me at the meet I hosted know that I am very respectful of gear.

So, if you have some K1000's laying around let me give them a try

Pre-amp good with AKG K1000

Which tube amp would that be?

It was custom made. So it doesn't really have a name. It uses 2x 13GB5, 2x 6SN7, and 1 80# rectifier. All parts including the tubes are NOS.
