It was probably the largest event arranged by head-fiers in Thailand. TAF (stands for "Thai Audiophile Forum", www.taf.in.th) is one of the largest head-fier community in Thailand with over 5,000 members. Of course, many of us are members of head-fi.org for years.
TAF Jam 09 was not initially planned to be as big as it was, but after few discussion between the members, it came out to be one of the best event we've ever had. The venue took from 04:00 PM on June 20 to 02:00 AM of the next day! As you will see from the pics below, we have quite many items together. We had about 35-40 members and visitors joined the event.
Let's see what we had:
At the beginning of the event, members started to fill a table with their IEMs and portable amps.
AKG K701 and Grado RS-1 were not actually at the right place (with tube or desktop amps).
Senn HD600+SAA Equinox paired with Lisa III, a pair of Westone 3 was also in the pic.
Senn HD650+SAA Equinox paired with Earmax SE. I use Sony PS1 as a player!. ATH ESW10JPN was paired with DIY Amp. It looked like all Senn HD600 and HD650 in the event were married to SAA Equinox or Cardas!!! .. well, Except HD800s.

We had 9 DIY portable amps in the contest ... members took turn to try and rank them. Some were good ones, some need improvement. Another member was listening to Denon D7000 through Oritek amp.

As the night crept in, we had more and more rigs filled into the rooms.
ATH L3000 paired with Earmax SE through iPod U2 through PAD Mauseaus. Next to the first set was HD800, powered by Xin Supermacro IV and ALO Au/Ag.

AKG K1000 was powered by one of the biggest rig in the event. Sided with Dx1000 and W5000.
Yeah, we had a common area to enjoy wine, beer and discussions ... why not?
