All Woo Audio products are tested individually prior to leaving our New York facility.  However, we know that occasionally things may become loose or damaged during shipping.  Our troubleshoot recommendations are to help you find a resolution with minimum down-time.  And to avoid shipping the product back to us and then to find out there is nothing wrong with it.   This happens all too often.  We want to help track down the cause so we hope this WiKi article will help you resolve the issues you are experiencing with your Woo Audio product.     If you are more... read more

Hisound Firmware and Directions

Hello guys Jack from Hisound just provided me with the updated Studio V and Rocoo P/BA firmwares as well as directions. I decided to make a faq page as it will give others the ability to add updated firmwares and such regarding Hisound products in a centralized area.   Update: Guys I'm being told now that there are some compatibility issues with larger files types (FLAC and I'm not sure with WAV) as well as the files not showing up in alphabetical order. So just letting you know. I'm also hearing that you can only load this firmware via Windows XP? I'm not sure... read more

An Interview With John Grado

[ The following is an original John Grado's interview done by Zanth, posted on 7/29/05 ]   Well folks I just had one heck of a time chatting with John Grado of Grado Labs (like that needed to be mentioned ) I rang him at just after 9 am today and we talked for a little over three hours! I just arrived at work so I can't write too much just yet, but I will... read more

The Audiophile Scene in a Third World Country - FUN READ

This will be a cathartic experience on my part since I haven’t written for a while after leaving The Huffington Post.   A little background, I live in NYC but was brought up in Bangladesh (used as a representative third world country among many others). Those who have not heard of the place – open up a world map (do they still have those – or has Google Maps killed it already?) – and look to the right side of India. I sort of proudly say to all that I am Bangladeshi even though “officially” I’m from Wisconsin. But this article (or whatever you want to call it) is about... read more
